Andrew is a long time customer - mostly because I take so damn long to finish his projects (hey, at least I'm honest!). I recently finished winding and installing a pair of TDM Pickups in his Washburn ES335 knock off. The neck pickup was a 7.5k Vintage series humbucker, the bridge pickup was a lower powered version of my SHO series (11.45k). Considering it's a hollowbody I didn't want something ear splitting but I wanted something with a little push for some overdriven bridge tones.
"Dude, the pickups sound killer. The middle position sounds sick. I really like them. In the middle position these pickups have a big, fat tone. I played it through my Trainwreck clone 50 watt tube amp and it sounded huge. The bridge pup has a real nice rock and roll tone. It's what I was looking for. The neck pup is real fat. Rolled off the volume a bit and it cleaned up real nice."
Thanks man and sorry for the long wait for everything. Thanks for being so flexible with me! :)
